Who said size matters? Bigger doesn't mean better.

Welcome to Photography with an Altitude.

I started using a camera during a seven-week road trip from Chicago to many of the western National Parks. That was in early 1970. My grandmother had a Kodak 35mm rangefinder with all these dials on it. She gave me a quick lesson and some film and off I went.

A few years later I purchased my first camera with the prize money from the Kerker Quinn Creative Writing Award for Poetry from the University of Illinois. I have never stopped photographing and learning about photography. Now my journey takes me into the digital world and Photoshop, which are both challenging and fascinating. Look at my manipulated images in my Portfolio.
